these women are very excited about the new latrine and well going in by their open market the man behind is the contractor and his mother is the one with the potato greens on her head they just can't wait for it to open

on the upper type corner we are just starting to dig a new well they are about 6 feet deep lower right they have been digging for two days and they are 25 feet deep after I took this picture the contractor called me when I got home and said they just hit water so now they will line the well with concrete rings to the bottom and then go down another 10 feet and drop five more rings this way when we do these wells in the dry season you know you are getting down to the real water table so many of the wells in Liberia are put in during the rainy season so in, November December there are dry so we will not allow them to dig our wells until we are in the dry season
We have got our new latrine painted and ready to go as soon as we get the well completed we will open it

Our area seventy from Accra was here Prest. Curtis and our mission president Roggia wanted to see our new latrine that we had just completed standing next to them is our contractor and his secretary
