on the left of the ladies dancing.  You will see the outside of the prison.  They are waiting for the president of Liberia to get their most of them waited all day

the president arrived there was people all over the road.  She got out of her SUV and walked straight over to sister miles and myself and wanted to know what we were doing their we told them we were humanitarian missionaries for Latter Day Saints, shared.  She was very receptive to us

a trip to the other side of this county where there was a political prisoner

next week we went to the other side of the Senators County.  We were invited.  There to assess the other side of the county.  There was some very rough roads. it was the country's independence day and the president was going to speak at this County, where they had brought in a new road for 40 miles and it had took them about three years before that, it took him seven hours to walk to the nearest road.  We had a very rough time getting their because our guide took a shortcut.  It was nothing like a shortcut.  We thought we would never get out of there, but with a lot of prayers and  lot of Toyota.  We made it through
when we got to the town.  There's probably 5000 people live in the small village during the Civil War for 14 years the president would keep all the political prisoners that opposed in these  small rooms the president that we are going to meet was Here for quite a long time there was 10 of these buildings in this prison camp
the picture on the bottom is when we was driving way back in the Bush it is a very rough road. picture on the right.  We got to this bridge with the Sen. from this County.  she was taken us back to her villages.  I told her I wouldn't cross this bridge, so she got some people to come over and put a few new boards on it took us about an hour.  She took her truck  across first

when we got down to the river.  We had to get in a canoe to get across to the other side of this large river is a very wide river.  I would say 400 yards

then to get to the villages, which was about a half a mile away.  They would put the motorbikes in the canoes, and then we would get on the back of a driver and take us to the villages
the motorcycle drivers would not let us ride on the back of the bikes.  When we crossed the bridge sister miles refused to get off.  So they took her across

when you get to the villages.  I have a ceremony for you is every glad that you came to visit them, so they give you a white rooster to take home with you cola nuts that is the chief of the village standing by sister miles, he told me.  If you come up to one of these villages and they don't give you a white rooster and cola nuts.  You better get out of there, so by the time the two days was gone.  We had four roosters and a bag of nuts

sister miles and the senator from this County are assessing the village looking around for the things that they need.  I have no clean drinking water or latrines they get most of their water out of the river.  We just love these people.  Most of the children here have never seen a white man, so some of them get scared

We have 18 branches in Liberia and 12 of them are participating in this project. It is supposed to help them to be able to sustain their self's. After we help them with the seeds and the tools that they cannot purchase on their own. These people are very excited about the garden project. There's well over 660 people in the project
